Aaaand he's done and I almost clutched first for my local store's painting contest. Tied for about an hour against a VERY nice Ushoran that eventually won. We had to wait for the next random person to come into the store to cast the final vote. #warhammer #40k #minipainting #tau

A bit of y'all seemed to like the first wip shot of my custom Tau commander so here's more. Now with panel lining done and drying. Totally LOVE the final look and even did a blue oil paint line job on the weapon. Just a couple more things to finish. #Warhammer #40k #tau #minipainting #modeling

It's kitbash time! Built up a Tau commander for my local store's monthly paint comp. I wanted a coldtar commander that REALLY lives up to that aircraft theme. Double up on weapons and gave it wings and modified jump engine from oop areonautica imperialis tau. #warhammer #tau #40k

Ended up falling a little behind this week on my piranhas because my iwata neo airbrush nozzle died somehow so I had to break out eclipse to get these base coated. But I got the bases done instead. #warhammer #40k #tau #minipainting

1/2? Okay Warhammer nerds and fellow silicone "enthusiasts" I'm gonna need some help or at least a possible explanation as to what went wrong here. Was trying make a mold of some sculpted 32mm bases, and the silicone instructions said it had a 6-8 minutes working time. #warhammer #casting #ohmy

Got gifted a bunch of awesome tau minis at our local group secret Santa this year and already getting right into them with these converted Piranhas. Loving the rear wing+canards look on these. Also with the engines laid flat makes these look much sleeker. ^v^ #warhammer #40k #Tau
