Started a new job yesterday, back to welding. It's not the job I want to do but it's stable and provides for the wee one.

I don't want too, but I feel my time in the patch is over. I need to prioritize a stable source of Income and time with my daughter over my career goals. Maybe when she's a teenager and hates me I'll revisit the idea haha.

Highway 1 between Portage and Headingly is a skating rink right now. Had to go 40 in some areas. Multiple vehicles in the ditch and stuck in drifts.

It's weird, when I'm out in the field I don't drink coffee, I've gone months at a time in camp with 0 coffee. But as soon as I'm home I need the hot bean nectar like I need Oxygen.
