We enjoyed our visit from Tawona Sitholé today, leading us in celebrating our many spoken languages, with a bit of drama and fun😄 Well done to Mr. McGrath’s & Mrs. Cooper’s excellent pupils.

1D enjoyed a fantastic session with Etienne Kubwabo today. Huge thanks for helping us design our own graphic novel characters. 1D were very inspired to meet Etienne.

Well done S1 & S2 at lunchtime and thanks to Claire, Glasgow Life STEM Co-ordinator. We made circuits using graphite ✏️⚡️& turned our black-out poems into ‘talking poems’ using iPads voice recording 💖 #STEM #poetry

For #DyslexiaAwarenessWeek, we had some great tannoy announcements and shared resources like #MissionDyslexia “I liked this book as it shows that all different types of people can be dyslexic - even superheroes! I used the Tips for Time Management”. (LN, Holyrood) 😄

I like the idea of a year that prioritises reading. Let’s make 2026 the year we reopen closed libraries, open new ones and reverse the loss of school librarians.
