I lost count how many times I submitted to @bansheepress.bsky.social, so I'm especially thrilled to take up four whole ass pages like quite the audacious madam (Issue 19 Spring/Summer).

Thrilled to have made the longlist 🎉
(1/5) Congratulations to the National Poetry Competition longlist!

Everyone on the longlist wrote a poem that stood out to the judges, Romalyn Ante, Stephen Sexton and John McAuliffe, out of over 21,000 other works. Well done to all of our longlisted poets!

So pleased to have this poem in the latest edition of the Cormorant, amongst many other beautiful pieces in the issue. It’s great to have such an interesting publication coming out of the North West.

2024 is ending on a bit of a high for me as I have a poem in Poetry Ireland Review for the first time. It is also so nice to recognise so many names in the issue as friends I’ve met through the Irish poetry community these past few years. Here’s to a 2025 full of good poems and interesting people.
