Saw @veradrew22.bsky.social's "The People's Joker" on 35mm last night with my Wife in Clown Make-Up and Trans Flag nails with the Joker Colors !! Was an immensely gorgeous experience, the melding of digital cinematography and film stock was the perfect way to experience my favorite film of 2024 !!

My biggest hope for Messiah is that they continue to follow Chani's agency , she isn't super present in the book from what I remember and if they are able to continue to make her agency central to her while still maintaining her sacrifice at the end of the book, that would be kinda beautiful.

i agree with this post yet also that film is so much more than that. being put in the shoes of two confused, scared children who are left all alone with no mom or dad to call for. it's such a hopeless film and, likewise, instills helplessness. People who hate Skinamarink lack empathy.
