We have a bunch of perfectly good old Digital cameras and accessories - often arriving along with film camera purchases - that should get sold. Having next to no interest in digital, we don’t really want them on the site… but *IF* a section was added to flog them, what should it be called?

Well… we seem to have run out of cameras (besides some APS stuff) and lenses. Oops. Better get in the workshop over the break! I blame Google Merchant listings actually working too well, and the owner/technician/purchaser/developer/accountant/marketeer (me) not working well enough!

Any mechanical engineer / toolmaker / model engineer / horologists here? I want a tool I think exists, but can’t find it. Best guess: Parallel / Pillar screw press.
A tool that holds a screwdriver bit perfectly parallel to a screw head, with threaded adjuster. Looks like a mini drill press. 1/2

Have to praise LEE Filters for excellent customer service. Ordered a roll of ND film/gel – the raw material for our Polaroid ND Filters – and it turned up a bit crumpled and dusty. I emailed them at 7am yesterday, they had shipped me a new roll by 9:30am, and it turned up at home just now 👌

When a camera is completely beyond repair, instead of sticking it on eBay as junk and making it someone else’s problem, we like to strip it of usable bits and make them available. It’s a bit of a labour of love, but it’s great when someone finds exactly the part they need for their own repairs 😊

Just had a casual little product photography session for a new tee design (proper post tomorrow). Needs must when you don’t have any proper lights, a neutral backdrop or a single working DSLR/Mirrorless camera…😅 first time I’ve ironed a sheet in decades… and it shows!

This 1st Gen Polaroid ONE has: Clamshell design to protect the gizzards. Flash with on/off/red-eye modes. Self-timer. Tripod mount (!!) and clever wrist/palm strap arrangement. Think of the creative options 🤔. It’s good, so we’re asking £45.

The Polaroid ONE, in open mode, sat on a wooden table in front of a book about mushrooms. The book has a plant on it that doesn’t like this silly hot weather we’ve been having. Neither do I. Anyway the image was taken with an iPhone and had some vignette added to look a bit fancy. A pic of a Polaroid pic taken with this camera. It’s wonky but it demonstrates a shot with flash off in low light on a tripod. The image is inside my kitchen looking out the window from fairly far back. A photo of a Polaroid photo. The image shows a harvested wheat field in the evening sun with a tractor on it. Long shadows create nearly black areas. I pulled over a bit erratically on the Cirencester Rd to get this, should have indicated sooner. Sorry following Tesla.
