Officially diagnosed with depression as of today. Going to start medication and it feels a bit like a relief to know I don't have to fight the dark thoughts on my own anymore.

Went swimming with a friend today. I might not have a group of girlfriends but I am still blessed to have some female friends. The girls I do have in my close circle put in the same effort, I can count on them and they count on me as well.

Went for a run today and keep forgetting how good I feel after. Been trying to get back into running and gym routine but it's been so hard. Burnout and depression really are making sticking to any routine so much harder 🫠

Ngl losing ppl sucks. And even if its likely best for everyone to chose to step away that doesn't make it any less painfull especially since I already have a small close circle. Im already not doing too well mental health wise and this just adds onto it. But we keep going I guess.
