l haven't always acted to fully secure my home PC. But, today I use SBC routinely have brute force, firewall, VPN, antivirus and protection at kernel level, at boot updates, inc firmware are applied as are other jobs and logs. I use Armbian, cutting edge & secure. www.armbian.com
