“Tickets please!” The slightly sing-song voice rings out into the early evening, getting caught on the wind blowing leaves across the track. Rails lead to a large barn, bright lights illuminating a dark train being loaded with boxes. Acting as a guard and guide, the Viera who has asked for tickets is smiling brightly. She clearly loves to help, and is so focused on the task before her everything else has sunk into insignificance. Any authority she might have in the role is undermined by her assistant: a blue furred hair, curled up on the conductors hat, sending one long pink ear downwards. Authority aside, Buns is at least dressed for the part she plays. A sharp brown shirt, green tie, practical skirt, and a belt with many useful tools and pockets. It’s a costume more than a uniform ~ but she is helpful, and therefore fully in her part. Are fireflies weave through the air, and the last of the suns rays cause small refractions, the train blows its horns. Last tickets needing to be purchased… It’s a shame Buns can’t count, tell time, or understand currency. Enthusiasm will only get her so far in this job!
