Crearon un modelo informático del lenguaje humano (un logro no menor) y se pusieron a venderlo como una cosa distinta (una inteligencia capaz de resolver cualquier problema).

Sí, es real. En Microsoft quieren eliminar todo el código C y C++ para pasarlo a Rust, y para ello van a usar IA. Sí, van a usar IA para reemplazar todo el código de Windows. Solo os digo que aprendáis a usar Linux lo antes posible... por lo que sea.

Wildly different things, tasks, techniques, subspecialties being lumped into "AI" and then being conflated with each other, doesn't help. Different types of models vs the techniques to train them vs the tasks they are supposed to accomplish, all under "AI".

Lo mejor de todo es que si yo estuviera ahí me quedaría esperando detrás de la furgoneta y me pitarían (he recibido más de un pitazo por hacer cosas locas como ir a 30 en una zona de 30 o parar en un paso de cebra)

I've spent all day struggling to write a single page of a popular science article. I bang away at a word processor; give up; start diagramming on paper. Take some notes; draft a few sentences in pen; return to the computer...and very slowly I figure out what I was trying to say in the first place.

Tuve una clase en la que nos hablaron de la I A en clase y como aplicarlas como profesores y lo que me quedó clarísimo cristalino es que nadie tiene ni puta idea de qué hacer con ella, tienen claro que resulta problemática por muchos motivos pero están tan flasheados que no se plantean no usarla
