Shit poster in the other place, wholesome photographer over here. Throw me a follow if you love wildlife and photography (I'm sure I'll think of something else too!)

Figured I'd share some of my favorite photos I've taken and a bit about them! This one has been immortalized as a tattoo partly because it works so well but also because of the time I got to spend with these animals #birds #costarica #photography
Been thinking a lot about the passage of time and how you can see it in the landscapes around us (and conveniently, they're pretty nice pictures)

Slowly getting more pictures through my convoluted editing process

These seals were really great to get pictures. We barely saw anything else on the tour but this made it so worth it

I think this is hands down the coolest #bird I have ever seen in the wild.

The Northern Potoo! My favorite muppets

The Bullhorn Acacias down in Nicaragua were so photogenic in bloom, the wren gave me a very nice excuse to try some different angles

I'm back from essays guys and look at these photos I got from the Georgian Bay in July!

An absolutely stunning "common" yellowthroat snacking on bud worms on gymnosperms of all kinds!

Hey #booksky (is that a thing?) These are my favorite books of the year. Focused on emerging science, ecosystems a more spiritual connection to the living world.

The Georgian Bay is a magical place in Canada, home to all Snake species in Eastern Canada

This is me back when I was a canoe tripper with an absolute unit of an Eastern Hognose Snake which for my money is the cutest Snake on earth. #herping #Snake #wildlife

October was mushroom season at the cottage, lots of downed trees the last couple years so there's an explosion every spring and fall! #fall #mushrooms

Also is that Reishi? Probably not

I think a lot of photographers get discouraged by the ordinary but when you get so many reps on a species you can get some pretty cool shots #birds #cute #photography

I think the most rewarding part of birding for me has been chance encounters like this one with a barred owl while I was snowshoeing. I never liked posting up with a bunch of other birder clamoring for a pic of a rare sighting #birds

This is boot canyon in Big Bend National Park and the hike to get this photo was the best one I have ever been on
