And where I've got to today, after another couple of studio sessions. Trying to keep the play going but some of them are rushing for the finish line!

First day on a series of small felt landscapes... Going for coverage and a bit of play!

This is generally how I start getting ideas together for a new series of work. Walking, photographing, sketching, playing with ideas, noticing what is catching my eye. I have a hankering for paring back, and relishing quiet, open space. We'll see whether that plays out...!

Thrilled to be able to unveil the commission I've been working away on for the past couple of months - a large felt sunrise panorama. I really fell in love with this one as I ironed and finished the felt, finding gorgeous details in the rich surface. And the new owners love it too! 🧡

Really looking forward to being able to post about this commission! It's been ongoing for a couple of months, and my customers gave me the go-ahead to felt it at the weekend. Well, it's now felted and mounted, and I'm really thrilled with how it's come together. I can't wait to see it on the wall!
