Those of us who care for #Cats with #FelineCKD or other illnesses know that it can be difficult to administer medications.

A compounding pharmacist may be able to make it safer and easier for your kitty and you. Please learn more: foundationforfelinerenalresearch.org/blog/what-is...

One of the few weapons in our Feline Chronic Kidney Disease management arsenal is a special CKD diet. If your cat has #FelineCKD, speak to your vet--a special diet (reduced in phosphorus, and tailored to your cat's needs) may help your kitty feel better, and may slow disease progression.

LILIES ARE HIGHLY TOXIC TO CATS! The petals, pollen, and even the vase water can cause ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY, RENAL FAILURE AND DEATH! Cats who survive are often left with PERMANENTLY IMPAIRED KIDNEY FUNCTION!

Please keep lilies out of homes with kitties! PLEASE SHARE!

This article by Washington State University can help you understand what they really mean. Pay special attention to BUN, creatinine, and phosphorus. #Cats. hospital.vetmed.wsu.edu/2022/01/12/u...
