I'm a ten ticket thrill ride.

Film nerd, book worm, rabbit holer, and pursuer of pleasure.

I've been on the brink of burnout and exhaustion for quite sometime running three different businesses and stretching myself beyond thin. As a result, I will be on sabbatical from Sept 1-23rd.

After that, find me briefly in Seattle Sept 24-25th, & then back to New York <3
Sooo thankful for beautiful books like this one and that more and more sex workers are writing about the industry. It's so comforting to read books by people who know what we go through because they've done it themselves. Thank you too to the lover who got me this, I appreciate you so much <3

Grateful for days I can spend reading in a MOMA cafe.... nothing better than appreciating art in many many forms (food, drink, written, visual); I love to bathe in art and creativity as much as possible and I'm so grateful that art is so easily accessible.

Thankful for playful gifts that play to my hobbies... but also, I wouldn't be a diver without you; you inspired me and supported me all along the way! Thank you for introducing me to your passion and making it one of mine <3

Grateful for Christmas Eve runs through the woods and to see natural phenomenon like swollen streams and stripped trees. I feel quite alive when I get to brave the elements on my runs. <3

Grateful for mind blowing food with people I love. Meals are severely underrated as a way to connect, celebrate one another, and just appreciate that we are alive.

Grateful for delicious sweets and cups of warm tea with cinnamon and fresh fruit in it. <3

Grateful for beautiful spaces to walk around and reflect. Architecture can influence how open we feel, how creative, how uplifted and confident. I love love love spaces like this that make us feel ephemeral and enlightened.

Grateful for charming gifts like this; ones that are full of whimsy and creativity and which will (hopefully) allow me to be more on time than I was previously!

Thankful for beautiful places. Even when things are cold and gray, these gorgeous wildflowers still blooming and adding color are a wonderful reminder that we all bloom in our own seasons.

Thankful for people who skill share with me. I learned how to take my own photos over years of advice, mentorship, and self-education from very generous people. Thank you so much to those people who didn't gate keep and were willing to share their skills and energy with me.

Such a huge fan of David Mitchell and so grateful for one of my favorite people for introducing me to him. What a wonderful way to escape from the world for a day or two. <3

Miami: Jan 17-18th

Until then, kisses darlings <3

It's been awhile since I've done some gratitude posting and so from now until the end of the year I'm just going to be writing about the things I'm grateful for... there's so much shit going on right now that a bit of thankfulness is much needed. <3

I love love loved My Year of Rest and Relaxation. Some of the stories in here will haunt me for weeks, if not months. Another fabulous book from one of my favorite authors <3

A difficult book to read in public places.... I need some alone time with some of my toys after reading some of these passages....

I'm not sure how I felt about this novel. Did anyone else read this lately and have any opinions? Not as great as I would normally expect from a Booker winner.

Such an incredible novel. I stayed up late to finish this; the characters dip like hummingbirds in and out of a plot that is less about what is happening and more about...: how do we cope with the things that happen to us?
