Building a better algorithm is weirdly personal for me. Feels like trying to fix the very thing that broke my trust in people.

Going to post some things to hopefully improve my search vector for Bluesky and my own custom feed, getting results but I get weird recommendations in my own algorithm im developing because I haven't yet represented myself!

@mary.my.id will check out atcute tonight sounds like it would solve some of the headaches I was going through. Doing some codebase rewriting so it’ll be the perfect opportunity, I got frustrated with some of the auth and also getting basic records and it would probably clean up my code a lot haha

I had to move to a GPU in the cloud that’s very expensive and costing me $1.50 an hour but I’m indexing all the posts on Bluesky and creating a recommend feed based on your posts. Now I get to actually form the group and play with social media algorithms
