The Westbourne Park Pantry is a hub of care and cooperation at the heart of Westminster.

For just a small weekly fee, members can choose from high-quality groceries while connecting with friendly volunteers and neighbours.

Recently, our National Director Andrew Forsey OBE paid a visit to Margaret Gildea to acknowledge the remarkable contribution she has made in supporting our work, especially the work of Feeding Derbyshire where she lives.

Access to affordable, healthy food can be a challenge for anyone including people living in urban areas.

Be Enriched aim to mitigate these issues through their Food Bus and Food Floats that offer a mobile greengrocer experience to less connected South London neighbourhoods.

In Brent, Sufra NW London is creating a community hub where everyone can access food that reflects their culture.

Feeding Britain recently joined forces with Community Shop, Family Action, The Message Trust, The Bread and Butter Thing, UK Harvest and Your Local Pantry, to carry out a cross-sectional survey into the impact of food clubs across the UK.

Affordable Food Clubs thrive as places of connection and community. By removing stigma, creating safe spaces, and offering support beyond simply food, Affordable Food Clubs are able to help tackle some of the drivers of poverty and help members move away from dependency on emergency food aid.

In Glasgow, Threehills Community Supermarket and Café is creating a space where everyone can access good food with dignity and choice.
This flagship project, developed by @goodfoodscotland, offers affordable groceries alongside a warm, welcoming café and vital support services.

Earlier this week, the latest affordable food club in the Feeding Britain network was officially launched by Si King!

St Chad’s Market, in Bensham, is providing local people with affordable food in a welcoming setting, as part of a comprehensive year-round offer of support.

Earlier today, Feeding Britain were excited to attend the Norfolk Community Foundation’s event where they presented their new Nourishing Norfolk network evaluation findings, based on independent research conducted by @uniofeastanglia.bsky.social
