Before the shutdown, USGS published some neat research on work to improve steelhead the fishery populations across WA-OR-ID.
Good/bad news: 7,465 E-Transit vans have been delivered to USPS through mid-2025, which is 81% of the total ordered. 👍 1,000s are sitting unused as not enough USPS locations have charging infrastructure. 👎
There is less clarity on the much larger order of ~44,000 USPS NGDVs from OshKosh.

It's not new, but I ran across this cool video about a #NOAA weather forecasting satellite from a couple years ago. This is the kind of great stuff NOAA does to improve lives and safety across the country.
There may be contrary winds in the federal space, but DoE's Nat'l Renewable Energy Lab is using block grants to help State/Local/Tribal boost energy efficiency and cut costs. #NREL #energy
