a white bird with a black cap, on the edge of the water as it grabs some food. you can see the reflection as well. A long legged wader and its reflection on the lake. the bird has a long straight bill, and its wings and head is black, the rest of the body is white. in the background, out of focus, more of the same birds are looking for meal. there are 4 immediate egrets in the frame, 2 of them strutting forward, and one between them is landing down. further behind is an egret looking at the flying bird. on the right there is a smaller bird with greyer back/wings - but a beak that resembles that of a gull. there are parallel path made of dirt between salt pans. further behind you can also see reflection of trees in the water, and a lot of small birds too (out of focus) a brown bird with a pointy head (and beak) and yellow legs - sitting on a black branch sticking out of the water -- you can see the reflection of the same in water. the background is lots of green grass, and you can see reflection of the grass. there's also plastic bottle visible.

He tried to piece together the moments before, the taste of lukewarm coffee, the blurry headlines of a discarded newspaper, but his mind felt strangely fogged, as if a silken veil had been drawn across his memories, leaving only the overwhelming, hypnotic spectacle before him. He willed his limbs to move, to stand and explore this bizarre locale, but they remained heavy, unresponsive, not through physical constraint, but as if his very will had been leached away by the sheer presence of the sunset. He was an audience of one, compelled to witness this cosmic display.

The fight that ensued was a blur of instinct and improbable physics. The figure moved with impossible grace, its limbs elongating and contracting, its form subtly shifting. Lauren dodged a blow that crumpled the steel fence behind her, rolled under a sweep that twisted the air above her, and landed a kick that sent ripples through the opponent's body like dropping a stone in still water. Each of her attacks, though seemingly ineffective, was met with a strange resonance that vibrated deep within her bones.

the female sunbird, olive above and yellowish below, perched on a branch and looking at red flower on the other branch -- with the butt in focus (as it jumped and changed direction while photographing) a black backed stilt - bird with long beak, black wings and back, and white body, very long red legs. it is in water and hunting for food, and you can see reflection. there's a small land in the back. a male peafowl with its tail feather spread and fanned out in order to impress a female peafowl. the bird kept looking away from the photographers. you can see brown feathers of the wings, and the black portion is the butt. the back side of the long peafowl feathers show the white central stem, and then small sets of patterned feathers they are well known for. the grey long feather is what helps them support as they open up and make the long tail feathers stand out. a small bird perched on a branch, with its tail raised, trying to showcase its glorious butt, but there are small branches (out of focus) covering it. the bird is dark brown, with white stripe on the shoulder feather. The tail has a light orangish/brown plumage on the under side.

“AI prompt giving artists” are complaining about others stealing their prompts, and then adding that the one stealing is getting more eyeballs, is kinda beautiful

Can you imagine hours and hours of time going into refining the prompts, the research to find the right word for the prompt, stolen?!

This wasn't the sloppy, impulsive violence of a typical gangland hit. Rohan was definitely killed somewhere else and then the body was carefully staged, a scene that resonated with a twisted sense of purpose. Meera knelt beside the body, the damp earth staining her trousers. Her gloved hand gently touched the thread, its coarse fibres strangely out of place amidst the grime and squalor of the alleyway. The thread and the beads, a symbol of tradition, stood as a stark contrast to the brutality of the act.

Bird description from iNat: Adults have a rufous tail, a distinctive white iris, and a white throat bearing a dark mesial stripe bordered. The head is brown and the median coverts of the upper wing are pale. They lack the typical carpal patches on the underside of the wings seen in true buzzards, but the entire wing lining appears dark in contrast to the flight feathers.
