ok I did it, and i even went and bought it from an actual bike store! thank you for the boost everyone. I'm monstruously thrifty so I feel a little proud that i was able to choose luxury for myself in this moment. for the record the total cost of the bike is still under $300
if any bike heads want to talk me out of getting a brooks saddle please speak up, i need a new seat and i feel the growing urge to buy myself something nice
