Social spaces should reflect our values, not just our voices.
Curiosity. Empathy. Respect.
That’s the kind of community I want to be part of—and help build.

Still finding my way around.
Excited to find my peeps and grow community here!
So well deserved!! 🎉 He was amazing last season! Can't wait for next season!

I said this to the TV yesterday while watching Netflix. (Yes, I talk to the TV. Don’t judge.)
Usually, I say it after watching someone confuse authority with harshness.

Kindness isn’t weakness.
• It’s strength
• Clarity with empathy
• Accountability without cruelty.

The best boss I ever had helped me grow as a leader. Not by being "the" boss, but by being a colleague who happened to be my boss. He listened. He trusted. He made it feel like we were working together, not me working for him. That’s the kind of leader people remember, because it’s rare & it’s real.

There’s always a gap between what we say our culture is and how it actually feels to work here. The goal isn’t to catch contradictions—it’s to see what’s real so we can close that gap with intention.

Real–Time Awareness© helps leaders align aspiration with reality so culture becomes sustainable.
The culture we say we have isn’t always the one people feel.

When there’s a gap between intention and experience, culture can drift. Seeing that gap is the first step to closing it—so culture becomes not just better, but sustainable.

Ever see a younger colleague make a solid point that was ignored, then minutes later someone more senior said the same thing & got nods? Did anyone speak up to credit the original point?

Those are moments that develop 2 leaders: the person who spoke up & their ally.

GTFOH (is that even an acronym?). Talk about luck of the draw!! First, and likely last, time. 🥳

Ever record a dry run for a presentation as a starting point for developing your speaker notes, only you forget to unmute your mic?

So, yeah... my recording was nothing but 35 minutes of silence. 🤦🏽‍♀️

When I'm walking Doug in the morning, I try to say hello to people I see. I'm amazed at how many avoid eye contact and just walk by without so much as a glance.

What is that about?

Absolutely heartbreaking. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. No words can capture the pain of this senseless violence. Holding the victims & their families in my thoughts. Hoping for speedy justice!

We’ve made autism something that has to be obvious to be real. So we miss the people who’ve learned to blend in – Women. BIPOC. Quiet kids turned exhausted adults.

We need to let go of the fear of different — and start seeing what’s been there all along.
