A simple Promo I made to announce my first E-Shop/Merch shop, showcasing a few products with my first design; a Hummingbird inspired by mexica art/writing glyphs (Huitzilin (hummingbird) one to be precise), mixed with some subtle mayan numbers (the beak = one bar (5), the eye and wing (20), and the tail as 3 bars (15)) + 2 flowers with 5 petals, which summed up gives 50, which represent most of the hummingbird species present in México (I forgot to add a subtle 9 to be fully precise but.. good enough, for now x3), and colored like an alebrije with blue and yellow colors.

Descriptive text: Ankha from animal crossing chilling under a date palm tree in my style sorta adapted to Hieroglyphs style, surrounded by hieroglyphic text with a translated Sandy Marton's Camel by Camel lyrics, at least the first sentences. (Check next pic's alt for more info on it) More info: It's funny how much effort I put into what was originally just a lil shitpost joke, but I got inspired after a little while of having burnout, so I decided to just make this, I had fun with this silly art piece, I'm a language nerd so it was expected I guess haha. I used an online dictionary to middle egyptian as I'm not fluent in the slightest, I just learned the basics from a book during each internet outage moment here (it happens too often! aaa), but even so, it's impressive I could do this already, it will have a lot of mistakes ik, but for a high effort meme it's worth it :3 Egyptian hieroglyphs representing the first lines of Sandy Marton's camel by camel song with slight modifications, reading: "there was once a queen, Nefertiti Ankha: sitting under a (date) palm in the last Oasis, visions of her imagination full of mysteries. dune through dune into the ocean of golden sands. Blowing was the wind silently in the great desert (Sahara), Camel by camel, She's looking for a new great land, to live a new life, mysterious places, perfect balance, The desert route changed her destiny" Transliteration (note that due to Egyptian abjad nature even the most accurate vowel reconstructions are still speculative, so I just did my best to make it readable without reaching burnout from perfectionism): Hen-es Nefertiti Ankha. Hedib ma wahit har pehwy kher banrit, Rasut ma tjam-es sashita mehi na, Padsut khet padsut ma shąi nebu shanwir ta, Wekha ketkit pa tjau tep tau na ąkhast ąau, Gamur in gamur, Hehy na tau ąau mawy, wehi Ankh mawy, Tau sashita mekhat nefer, Khepir pa shaw-es ąkhast shemit ta. Confusing letters with equivalencies with Egyptological, and IPA ą = Ꜥ = /ʕ/ h = ḥ = /h/, kh = ḫ = /x/ tj = ṯ = /c - tʃ/ Also, Egyptians didn't know of camels until the Ptolemaic period or later, so I just made up the Hieroglyph by adapting coptic's "Gamoul" into it. — You can use this for Ankha Dance or Egyptian Trend videos as long as you give me Credit! :3 —
