I like measuring nature. Thinking about high latitude reefs, populations and communities.
Arrived at Kota Ambon to start work with the members of the #ClimateREEFS project for the next two weeks. But first I was greeted by a cat mama with her two nuggets, and a tropical thunderstorm! Perfect!!! #CLimateAdaptationREsilience @priestleycentre.bsky.social @mariabeger.bsky.social

The ClimateREEFS team has had a wonderful time at #AF2025 showcasing our research on small scale fishery sustainability. Similar challenges but many solutions in climate adaptation. We are in this together. #CLimateAdaptationREsilience @adaptationfutures.bsky.social @priestleycentre.bsky.social

It's certainly not everyday that we see a #Nautilus in the wild, with our own eyes. But today was the day! Here it was hanging out in the lagoon, in less than 5m of water, with its own Chrysiptera taupou (Southseas devil) friend.
