Very good corrective to the standard praise Brooks has received. As a “conservative” Brooks pushed the damaging “government is bad” narrative for decades. His lack of engagement with feminist writers going back to Wollstencraft is also a deep flaw of his.

“[Bondi] opted for contempt. It’s the Trumpian way. But is it the American one? Has the country sunk quite this far? I don’t think so. She and her fellow insult mongers aren’t owning the libs; they’re beclowning themselves. And it’s a repellent circus.”

Hope so.

Hillary Clinton is clearly too smart, knowledgeable and ethical for the US electorate. They prefer a corrupt reality tv conman and treasonous slob who’s destroying the basis of America’s wealth, power and security. Pathetic.

President Obama has too much integrity to say what all decent people know and feel.

Trump is unfit to be mayor of a tiny village of idiots never mind POTUS. The sexual predator, pedophile protector and treasonous slob belongs in federal prison.

Some of these people;
entered legally,
have committed zero crimes,
& have gone through EVERY legal step towards citizenship.

And this is how they’re being treated.

This is what the world sees us doing.

The most egregiously immoral policy to date. But there’s likely more with this malignant narcissist POTUS and his radical staffers.
Not only did they murder hundreds of thousands of people. They also stole the money.

130,000 jobs in a month is not STRONG! 150,000–200,000 jobs per month is considered a “normal”! Why exaggerate the poor performance of the labor market? Trump’s economic illiteracy has lowered the bar and the Times is complicit in normalizing it. Shameful.

The revised jobs data show just 181,000 jobs created last year, about 15k/month. For manufacturing, the ‘25 count fell even further into the red, from -68,000 to -108,000.

Looks like Trump’s tariffs are really working to destroy manufacturing in the US. Who knew? Economists and ordinary citizens.
