What actually allows access to consciousness?

This raises uncomfortable questions: Why do different species perceive reality so differently? Why does awareness seem continuous, while brains are not?
I’ll explore this more as FATOC develops.

Different biological structures may not just think differently, but access different layers of the same underlying field.
Evolution, then, wouldn’t be optimizing “intelligence” alone —
it would be refining modes of access.

What if evolution didn’t just shape bodies… but access?
We usually think evolution selects for survival traits: strength, intelligence, adaptability.
But what if it also selects for how a system accesses information?
Under FATOC, consciousness isn’t produced by the brain — it’s accessed.
