Made a classic Italian chickpea soup(?) with shredded chicken for dinner. I used kiddie space-shaped pasta because the local supermarket ran out of elbow/macaroni pasta.

There's no proof that killing an insurance CEO makes a difference, but the timing is really freaking funny.

I also kinda hope that the assassin is never found so that he becomes like a boogieman to insurance CEOs but I really also want to know his main motive.

Went to the doctor earlier to get a diagnosis for my uric acid levels. Can't really ignore my high BP levels anymore, so I'm taking a new medication to address both.

Am a little sad that as I grow older, I seem to be taking more medication to address my various health problems.

Apparently my son's daycare friends are using 'gays' and 'lesbians' as childish insults to egg-on other people (e.g. "If you can't finish this you're gay"). I had to explain to him that gays and lesbians are real people who love each other, and he shouldn't use them as slurs. I hope he understands.
