I don't read much, but I finished Blind Lake by Robert Charles Wilson. I started reading it after finishing his Spin novel, and it was okay. It felt like there was a lot of world and character building that left the second half of the book underwhelming.
Spin is really good though, check it out!

I had a plumber unclog a pipe from my bathroom today, and they did a poor job in cleaning. Black sludge was found nearly everywhere beneath the sink. I had to clean all that up.

I'm already over this week.

Got confirmation this morning that I have packet loss from my pedestal/tap, which clocked in at 11%. The previous tech who came out blamed my gateway 🤬😡
Another ticket has been filed to have another worker come out and fix the issue at the tap and/or beyond it. 🤞 that they can get this fixed.

Finished Mass Effect 2 today! What an incredible game, and it's so much better than ME1 (not to say that ME1 was bad, it was good).
I briefly started ME3 and wasn't expecting it to start off with a bang. I'm excited to see what comes next!

I went to go get dinner tonight and shortly after my excursion began, my car wouldn't accelerate and it completely died shortly after. Got it towed to a repair shop to be looked at in the morning. I'm really hoping it's just a bad 12V battery, but we'll see

An ISP tech came out to my place this afternoon, to check the line after my ISP phone support found packet loss.
The tech confirmed that the line at the tap had packet loss, and a crew will come out in the next day or so to fix. No run around at all, just an easy result!
