Casually cataloguing poorly-spelled tape labels. Average Limbaugh listener reading level.

Marketplace grab, about 30 cents each. Pristine tapes from a real collector who kept them in hard cases. I've been chasing after a copy of They Live and The Fly for a long time and these could not possibly be nicer. About 120 more clean tapes to sort through but these are the coolest.

The debut of what (I believe) is a lost Lou Albano Super Mario PSA from 1989, which aired during Batman '66. I think 9 others have been found but this is a 10th.

Never pass on a red tape. It's not a common color.

I lived in the era of dumb explosion tapes, and there's always a nice feeling to find them out in the world.

There aren't a lot of great finds out there anymore unless you're willing to compete, and that's just not me. But this was a really solid purchase last year from Craigslist; 100+ tapes for $100, but all of them were absolute gold, and they came with a pile of old band practice tapes.

Most of this tub was full of dubbed tapes that seemed to be covered in dried rat piss. But it was free, so... it's been a long process.
