December 15th update! It’s a big one!
12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - Starting December 14th (yesterday), look for a special Help Request each day with a nice gift! - This year, we added a new batch of these so that old and new players alike have something to look forward to each day IN ALPHA: AUTO-FISHING WITH MEALWORMS - IN ALPHA: This is available on the LIVE game to Alpha players - IN ALPHA: Switch to mealworms bait and you can 'Auto-Fish' in each fishing location - IN ALPHA: The use of Auto-fishing will consume mealworms faster than using them manually - IN ALPHA: Auto-fishing will stop once you run out of Mealworms - IN ALPHA: IMPORTANT >>> We are doing this to test load in the live environment and we are not sure if this feature will remain or if it will move up to Beta or the live game in the future <<< IN BETA: BULLETIN BOARD PERK CHANGES - IN BETA: The 'Bulletin Board' perk at the Farm Supply now allows you to sort regular Help Requests a number of ways, including by Percent complete, NPC, Title and Default - IN BETA: The perk will also show you a list of levels needed to unlock more Help Requests - IN BETA: The perk purposely excludes Friendship 99 Help Requests for Bobbleheads to reduce the amount of information shown NEW ACHIEVEMENT AND MERIT BADGE - At your Daily Chores, look for a new achievement for completing 100 days of chores - Also at your Daily Chores, look for a new Merit Badge for completing 5000 total chores - Neither of these require them to be done consecutively - Neither of these require that daily chores stats be unlocked for Gold OTHER UPDATES AND NEW CONTENT - There are 2 new chicken variations you can unlock at your Chicken Coop (look for the nuggets) - There is a new option in Settings called 'Show Missing Only?' that will change Help Request tracking to only show items you are missing to be able to turn in the Help Request - There are new Skill rewards available at Cooking level 90 - 'Fish and Chips' is now a possible reward in the House of Cards

NEW SPECIAL TEMPLE - Over at the Temple, look for a new special temple chain asking for Ugly Buddy Sweaters Ugly Buddy Sweater - The reward here will allow you to unlock a special cat variation called the 'Yule Cat' over at the Pet Shop - Read all about the Yule Cat here -> [LINK] FESTIVE FARM ANIMALS - There are new Chicken, Cow and Pig variations you can unlock! - Each of these require some of the new items you can get during December OTHER CHANGES AND BUG FIXES - There is a new seasonal bobblehead Santa Bobblehead, that will be earned from a challenging questline coming soon! - If you have Inventory Monitory Perk, monthly chore rewards will now show in red if collecting them would go over your max inventory - When you buy the 'Quick Meals' perk, it will now refresh the game UI and ensure the setting is ON to reduce confusion for players using this perk for the first time. - The list of Storehouse upgrades now shows existing amounts to help you see the upgrade take place - Large Chest art has been updated to include a number (and we plan to do this with some of the other loot items in a future update) -> Large Chest 01 Large Chest 02 Large Chest 03 SOME IMPORTANT DATES TO KEEP WATCH FOR - December 14th: '12 Days of Christmas' Special Help Requests start with a nice gift daily and this year we have a new set of gifts for players that have been around a while! - December 16th: An enjoyable Holiday Treat is coming (a special meal!) (if you played last year you already have the recipe) - December 20th through December 31st: Frozen Fishing / ICE Machine returns along with nice event bonuses AND we will be bringing back the 'Bottle Rocket Brawl' as the 'Snowball Fight' along with the 'Event Shop'! (Full details will be posted by the 18th) - December 23rd: 'Lost Reindeer' quests available to new players - December 25th: Christmas Day! Around this time, the team plans to take a break to be with family and friends - December 31st: New Year's Eve and Fireworks!

HALLOWEEN EVENT OCTOBER 28 - OCTOBER 31 - Enjoy +10% Skill XP - Enjoy +10% Silver at Market - Enjoy +10% Item Mastery - Get double Wishing Well throws daily - Candy will be popping up randomly across different exploration locations - Trick or Treating is back! - You will randomly encounter trick or treaters at the Haunted House - If you have enough candy they might be willing to trade some treats with you but otherwise look out for tricks. NEW REDBROOK ADVENTURE -> Jill's Corn Maize 2 - This brand new adventure is A-maize-ing! - Get your graph paper out and start mapping - There are some great rewards and a lot of corn puns along the way - Check it out at Redbrook Adventures - Also, there is a new quiz at the Schoolhouse related to the adventure OTHER UPDATES - In Settings > 'Change Emblem' > Your current emblem now sticks as you scroll to make it easier to try different emblems out - A number of new quests went live late last week and today - New craftable item -> 'Spooky Scarecrow' Spooky Scarecrow - Other small fixes OTHER NOTES - Most of the October quests will run through 11/3 - The Haunted House will be available through 11/3 - October event bonuses end 10/31

SUGAR MILL AVAILABLE - The Sugar Mill Farm addition is now available to all players once you reach Farming 85 - This building will convert sugar cane to unrefined sugar and other sugars - For full details check Sugar Cane Mill EVENT SHOP IS BACK! - Check home for the Event Shop with some great items to purchase - You can also convert Captured Ghosts to Event Tokens - Be sure to check the Community Center daily for some Captured Ghosts MORE MAILBOX IMPROVEMENTS - The mailbox system received an update last week to speed it up greatly - We have fixed a number of issues found since that update so it should be working even better now - Big ones: Last 10 From and Friendship XP and smiley correctly update now OTHER SMALL CHANGES - There is a new Halloween-themed Pig variation you can get at your Pig Pen! - Syrian flag updated - Item codes posted in chat now have a link to Town Hall - Some perk links now scroll you to the perk in Farm Supply

October 7th update! Haunted house coming soon!!!
Starting Monday, October 13th - The Haunted House and Ghost Hunting are back! - You’ll need a QED Pack to enter, obtained from the Help Request “Bust A Ghost.” - If you played last October, you likely already have one, but make sure it’s in your inventory, not your storehouse. - Craft QED Batteries and explore the Haunted House to hunt Ghosts! - On or after October 19th, you’ll be able to trade Captured Ghosts for Event Tokens. - The Event Shop will return at that time with new rewards for the rest of the month RAFFLE TICKET STATS 31,595 players got at least 1 raffle ticket in September There were 2,198,337 total tickets (69.57 per player) Most tickets held: Farmer Clements O. Goodman (1,088) RAFFLE TICKER WINNERS - We have the results and will post them shortly. - If you win, you'll also get an in-game message and your rewards will automatically be added to your account OTHER CHANGES - At the Temple, the chains shown at the very top that are one-time only chains will now move to the very bottom when fully completed - In chat, you no longer need to worry about different types of single quotes when linking to items with single quotes in the item name, like Cat's Meow and you can do "cats meow" or "cat's meow" etc CODE OF CONDUCT UPDATE - Every player will need to re-accept the Code of Conduct - We have added some new text in the section about the use of bots/scripts/macros - Do not use any form of botting, scripting, macros, etc. Just don’t. While FarmRPG is non-competitive, using any sort of hardware device, script, bot, macro, etc to play the game in an automated fashion is strictly forbidden. This is including but not limited to user scripts that materially alter or modify intended gameplay mechanics, regardless of click to action ratio. Do not discuss this topic in any public forum within the FarmRPG platform. Automation in the game causes a large amount of server requests and bandwidth usage that can impact game play for the entire community.

IT'S SPOOKY SEASON AT FARM RPG! - The Townsfolk have all dressed up in new costumes all month long! - The October Theme is on again by default, but you can turn it off in Settings - This year, the pets at the Pet Shop have all dressed up! GIVING OF SPECIFIC ITEMS TO TOWNSFOLK NOW IN BETA - IN BETA: Specific items can be given to Townsfolk now - IN BETA: Example: Borgen loves Ancient Coins, so you can give AC to Borgen now. Jill loves corn, etc - IN BETA: Right now there are only a handful of items that can be given to Townsfolk, but we will add more as this is tested in during the Beta phase QUICK CRAFT PERK UPDATE - On the 'Quick Craft' Perk at Farm Supply, items shown that are missing for the craft are now clickable to the item details for that item - This saves you from have having to scroll down to the recipe ingredients NEW ADMIN PET VARIATIONS - At the Pet Shop, there are some new variations to unlock for the Cat, Dog and Rock - These variations are based on our very own admin team's actual pets! - You can unlock them by acquiring the special items only found in Void Bags OTHER UPDATES - Gold Seed Bag 01 has been added to Borgen Mercantile - General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience. THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO - We are planning a mini-event sometime during the 2nd half of September, details soon! - We are working on some new crops and some new Farm Building additions - We have made some big progress on Mining Quest Support - We should have the 1st edition of The Redbrook Times out soon!
