I love the DROD series. Amazing and simple logic puzzles based around tiled enemy movement and a simple sword swinging that has lasted nearly 30 years.
Then it hits you with "this is the #2 enemy, unlike the #1 enemy, it's weak spot is on on the left instead of the right" and you re-evaluate life.
