The Fair Share for Maryland Act of 2025 legislation helps address the state's budget crisis by closing corporate tax loopholes and ensuring the wealthiest Marylanders are paying their fair share in taxes. It also provides tax breaks for working families by expanding tax credits.
Big corporations shouldn't be able to hide their profits to avoid paying state taxes. We lose out on millions of dollars every single year without combine reporting. The House passed a budget that includes combined reporting, but the Senate rejected this crucial provision.

Many states are pushing harmful tax cuts that would mostly help the rich.

But some – especially MD, CT, MA, and WA - are instead asking more from the wealthy.

Asking the well-off to contribute more is a must for creating a fair and equitable state tax system.

This is the corporate tax handout Trump is trying to repeat.
