BREAKING: Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has called a special legislative session, allowing representatives to pass a bill curbing voters’ access to direct democracy.

Not content with eroding the democratic process through gerrymandering, the governor is now also taking aim at ballot measures.

Today marks 16 years since the last federal minimum wage increase. The bad news is that Washington politicians continue to fail working families by not raising the minimum wage in over a decade.

The good news is that voters can raise wages themselves at the state level—and many of them already have
