Once i get in the trenches of DX12 and Vulkan and start questioning my sanity, i start to think that maybe OpenGL is all we need for small/medium sized projects. The data flow between and cpu should be as simple as possible imo. What do you think?

I recently beat SOMA and The Talos Principle (both great games!) and i was really surprised by the similarities in the narrative, albeit the talos one was a bit more hopeful in my opinion. Even more surprising is the fact that they were released not very far apart from each other!

Refactoring day! Currently ditching my scene graph in favour of a component oriented architecture, no more cumbersome graph traversing (for now...)

Working on a DirectX 12 based engine, it's pretty fun! (When it works though!)
