Trying to decide if I'll enjoy a couple of games while they're on a pretty banging sale rn. I'm serious coward who gets stressed with horror atmosphere games, but I hear Hellblade and Alan Wake are must plays. How unsettling did you find them, or was it fine?

I've been quiet about this, but can now say Mum's deep brain stimulation surgery looks to have been a success🙏 She's in less discomfort already.

I kind of slept on Stormblood the first time around and I remember 'meh' reviews about it, but replaying it almost a decade later, it resonates a lot more now. It's hopeful, it's heartbreaking, inspiring, and it's become one of my favourites. @de.finalfantasyxiv.com @square-enix-games.com

It's kinda sad that whether positive or negative, we somehow always end up with how attractive people think a female protagonist is dominating online discourse when a new game is announced.

I haven't been able to vibe with survivor era Lara Croft so far, but... no lie, these new announcements have me cautiously optimistic. It's giving me everything I loved about the classics and Legend with a mindblowingly gorgeous coat of paint. Can't wait to explore.
