A new update for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ released an hour ago, adding even MORE sounds!

How do you all like them?

The updated Mars in the Binding of Isaac Repentance+ gives you an invincibility shield when you charge.

This protects you, which means you can use Blood Donation Machines for free.

Unless you charge at a wall, then you still take damage.

In the 1.9.7.8 patch for Repentance+, some room layouts were changed, including this red poop room in the Chest floor.

The red poops are more spaced out, and the room is a little rarer.

The room is more fair... except for the top entrance, which isn't changed, for some reason.

In the latest Binding of Isaac: 4-Souls anniversary booster pack, there are little history blips from every major Isaac release.

These details from Edmund Mcmillen give insight into the creation of The Binding of Isaac.

There exists a special title screen in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ for getting all online marks on a save file.

This special title screen does override the "STOP PLAYING" title screen that appears after 100% completing all three save files.

Amongst all the legitimate bad words and slurs found in the file "profanity_list.txt", in the Binding of Isaac: Repentance+, there also includes a few interesting phrases.

The yellow version of Lil Spewer was unintentionally(?) buffed as a side effect of the Lemon Mishap buff in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+.

Lil Spewer's yellow creep pools used to disappear quickly before this change.

In the Binding of Isaac: Repentance+, while playing the online co-op, you can press the ALT key to open up an emote menu.

And, if you press the TAB key while on the emote menu, you'll access a secret menu with hidden developer emotes.

Some mistakes:

Larynx stayed quality 2.
Keeper's Box is quality 1, not 0.
Necronomicon, Mom's Bra, Anarchist Cookbook, and Hourglass were quality 1 items, not 2.
I missed the Screw item, that item is quality 2 instead of quality 3.
I also missed Lost Soul, that item is now quality 1 instead of 2.

The first patch to the new Binding of Isaac: Repentance + DLC brought a huge assortment of quality changes to items.

It seems like Nicalis forgot to update item qualities based on item buffs, however.

Based on SteamDB, we now have reason to believe today's update will actually be a separate free DLC. If this ends up being the case, REPENTOGON should continue to function with no issue, provided the DLC is not installed.

We still plan to migrate to the new version but cannot provide an ETA.

In The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth, there exists a clock on the stage transition screen that races you to Boss Rush.

If you're ahead of the clock, that means you're in fast pace for Boss Rush. If the clock is ahead of you, that means you need to hurry up!

This clock is only for Boss Rush.

If you use the ? Card with "Blank Card", you get teleported to an error room.

But, if you use this combination on a final floor (The Chest, Dark Room, Void, etc), you get the Error shopkeeper.

Three new achievements have been added to The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, all relating to the online co-op Upcoming Update Beta Free DLC coming November 18th.

In The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, there exists one singular room in the Catacombs floor that houses two Clickety Clacks.

This room is abnormal due to how many entrances it has closed, and also because Clickety Clacks are an enemy that usually only appears in the Ashpit.

"fly.amn2" was one of the very first things made for the Repentance DLC, and was created on March 13th, 2019.

This fly shows up on the title screen for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.
