On his birthday, we remember the great DeForest Kelley, who played Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy on the original Star Trek, The Animated Series, TNG, and in 6 films. Early in life, he had ambitions to be a doctor but became an actor instead, appearing in many Westerns—often as a villain.
