Starting the day off with the fresh NYC fall air! I love living in LA and will be glad to go home at the end of this week, but am enjoying the crispness in the morning!

This week I tried an experiment: write 2 tasks in my planner every day that move the needle for @slooh.bsky.social AND that are fully in my control.
The result: I am ending the week feeling like I made a difference and made strides in the right direction.

I spent the weekend at #ShineAway listening to amazing women talk about life and business. My three takeaways:
1. Trust your intuition—70%+ of speakers said this.
2. “Be your own passion project”—Karen Pittman spoke eloquently about being her own inspiration.
3. Aim for tsunamis, not ripples

Had a conversation with a mentee yesterday about how much so many people are driven by spite and yet how few people are willing to admit that spite is a motivator. In my experience, as long as spite is paired with purpose, it can be a powerful emotion to lean into

went to the Clark Planetarium last night for date night during their "Clark after Dark" 18+ event and omg so much fun. I wish more planetariums had adults only evenings. It was great to see the exhibits sans kiddos and there wer so many fun experiments to try (with lots more fire than usual)
