It's a trifecta.
Not only are we scrounging meals from limited pantry items and giving up shifts at work because we don't have gas money until payday, our generator died today so we have no power.
Glad I have 4 dogs because its gonna be a cold night without heat.

I feel like I'm on one of those cooking shows where I was handed a random bag of food and now I have to make meals for a week. This will be fun...maybe...My check went to pay bills. The other check is delayed by a week so groceries were not purchased. 😬 Just hoping my gas holds out to get to work.

Transitioning to a modified pescatarian diet, hold the dairy. Tonight's offering - acorn squash stuffed with cous cous, white beans, apricots, pumpkin seeds, and spiced pecans with a salad on the side. I'd add some bread but I think we'll have enough carbs otherwise.
