It was a fun, joyful, and hope-filled experience to see my friend Supryia Ray be sworn into the Board of Education. I know that she will be a staunch advocate for students and will work tirelessly to improve SF’s public schools.

The scenes out of Los Angeles are devastating. My thoughts are with those impacted and our firefighters. Large wildfires are becoming more common and encroaching on residential areas more often.
