We don't always have the answer. And our answer may not be good.

We may even be wrong.

It's the same with the spiritual life.

Doubt isn't just stepping away from certainty.

It's stepping toward adult honesty.

But rather is related to what scares you?

I wrote something small you can sit with today.

Then I deconstructed.

And I discovered this...

There’s a difference between losing faith and losing the need to be right.

Healing from religious trauma often starts when you stop asking, “Was it really that bad?”

and start asking, “Why did I have to survive it?”

When spiritually serious people decide Christianity can’t help them grow, that’s not a trend.

That’s a prophetic indictment.

I think sometimes people look at mystics and think they are just trying to escape the world.

I admit, sometimes it can become that.

But authentic mysticism isn’t about escaping the world.

It’s learning to see without the need to control what you see.

What's the most dangerous assumption Christianity makes right now?

That the people leaving are the problem rather than the evidence of a much deeper issue.

Whenever you hear the word “submit” in religious conversation, be careful.

It might be spiritual covering for the real message: "Don’t make leadership uncomfortable."

Not all faith crises are about doubt.

Some begin when certainty just can’t keep up with life.

If your spirituality spikes a fear of divine punishment, maybe your body is trying to tell you something your current theology won’t.

Consider this instead...

God is love.

Losing certainty isn’t losing God.

It might be losing an idol that needed certainty to survive.
