Obama's portrait–a closeup, straight on shot of his face. It was taken when he was a young senator. He is gazing directly into the camera. Schoeller's signature on the back of the print, numbered and dated. The original certificate of authenticity from the Obama campaign and Hasted Hunt galleries.

The four volumes of the first trade edition set. They are standing in a line, spines showing and the front board of the first volume visible. They are bound in red cloth with gilt text and spine labels. A brass bookend in the shape of a large sailing vessel sits in front of the first volume, propping them up. A full-page map of the state of Minnesota with rivers, lakes, grids, and Native American tribal names printed in various areas. The title of the map reads: Indians in Minnesota. The title page of the third volume. Also, the frontispiece–two photos of the Falls of Saint Anthony, one from 1869, the other from 1926.
