In the latest issue of @cgs-journal.bsky.social we analyze how gambling problems are handled in Swedish court cases. It is clear that despite extensive economic, health-related and social harm, individual gamblers are often left to deal with their problems on their own. doi.org/10.29173/cgs...

APARI in Tokyo provides legal support to people who use drugs. Harm reduction efforts are essentially non-existent in Japan. Through hrtokyo.net/en, an anonymous chat service offers nationwide support to a large number of people who use drugs. #SwedenJapanFoundation #HarmReduction

Today I visited darc.freedom-osaka.jp and learned about their support for people who use drugs. Founded by Meba Kurata in 1993, DARC helps transitions from prison to rehabilitation, host digital meetings and overdose prevention groups for prescription drugs. #SwedenJapanFoundation #HarmReduction
