It’s time someone fought for Mississippi. Running for Congress to represent MS-02. evanturnage.com
In Jackson and across the country, it's time for a new generation of leadership — one that's accountable to the people, not corporations.

Once again, Pam Bondi shows that Donald Trump and his administration will always side with cheating corporations, not the people.

It’s time for a Fair Deal for Mississippi. Today I’m announcing a new agenda with real plans that put federal resources directly into our communities, creates good jobs here at home, and gives families the stability they need to stay, grow, and thrive.

Are you ready to vote for change on March 10?
February 11, 2026 at 6:56 PM
ICE has been out of control for years, and Bennie Thompson has been running the same tired playbook.

TOMORROW: I hope I’ll see you at ‘Sippsi Good Tea this Wednesday evening, where I’ll be talking about economic development, healthcare, and equality – and making a special announcement!

Hinds County’s decision not to help administer our primary election voting is concerning. My team is investigating to make sure all eligible voters are still able to make their voices heard at the ballot box on March 10.

I was happy to be a sponsor of Women for Progress’s leadership weekend. WFP is a beacon in our community, and the fight for women’s rights is critical.

We tried their playbook, and it didn’t work. Now it’s time for a new generation of leaders in Congress.

I had great time worshipping at Morning Star Baptist Church and speaking with folks today. Everyone agrees: it’s time for a new generation of leadership.
February 8, 2026 at 6:59 PM
It’s been a long time since voters in MS-02 have had a choice for Congress. No matter where you are in the district, Team Turnage is making it clear: we’re ready for new leadership in Washington!

While Donald Trump tramples on the constitution, the Democrats in DC keep playing by the same old playbook that got us into this mess. The No Kings Act — which I wrote for Senate Democrats — would rein in the president, and it's time for new leaders who will actually fight to get it passed. #NoKings

Too many young people leave Mississippi for school or work and don’t come back, because they don’t see our state as a realistic option for their futures. We have to change that.

I’m proud to be running for Congress alongside other candidates across the country who aren’t waiting their turn. It’s time for change, now.

Just because you’ve been around the block for 30 years doesn’t mean you’re delivering results for the district. It’s time for generational change in Mississippi.

The rift over generational change roils the Congressional Black Caucus

This #MLKDay I went to the Mississippi state capitol to support the Robert G. Clark, Jr. Voting Rights Act of Mississippi. The civil rights protections that a generation of civil rights leaders fought for are under attack, and we have to do everything we can to defend them.

I'm done playing nice with Democrats in Washington.
January 16, 2026 at 6:39 PM
Bennie Thompson didn't even use his role as January 6 Committee Chair effectively to hold Trump accountable, much less do anything to back up the claim that he's the "sole person" fighting back.
January 16, 2026 at 1:00 AM
You can’t say you have a “100% voting record” when you voted against the most important voting rights package in a generation. I’m running for Congress to make sure Mississippi has a real fighter in Washington.
January 14, 2026 at 10:11 PM
I just got back from my morning run, and I'm fired up by all the support we've received in the past 24 hours to sprint to the primary on March 10th. Thank you to everyone who's shared our launch video, offered your support, or made a contribution to this campaign.

If Bennie Thompson’s 33 years in office had helped strengthen our district, there’d be no need for change, but we’ve remained the poorest district in the poorest state for my entire life.

I’m done waiting. I’m running for Congress to actually fight for Mississippi: evanturnage.com
