I hate that social media creators INSIST on copying the worst platforms. I hate twitter. I hate instagram. I hate snapchat. Why are the features of these so sought after? Where the fuck are the Facebook clones?

Nearly two years ago, I released a single called "UPGRADE" and it is still probably some of my best music work to date. It captured the raw and heavy Cyberpunk sound I've been chasing for years now. I'm happy to say I'm once again working on the rest of the EP, and I hope to release it this year.

If I had money to promote myself in ways that only money can achieve, i would have some amount of success. but i don't have money. so i'm stuck with music that nobody is interested in listening to, making 2 dollars a month maximum from streaming, and no drive to make more music because nobody cares

Is it bad that I resent the fact that my music has basically gotten zero traction because I'm not pushing it or trying to piggyback off of other peoples' fame? Seems like music popularity is just pure luck and/or sociopathy. I see my peers as people, not opportunities to further my music career.
