What happens when we encounter art while just going about our everyday life, walking through Vienna? ๐จ We tried to answer this question by looking at people looking at art in an observational study tracking naturally occurring interactions with art in our study area. ๐ตโโ๏ธ

Our dear @margot-dehove.bsky.social is leaving us for a research stay in the UK through the OeAD Marietta Blau scholarship. Yesterday we said goodbye with lots of laughter (although we are sad to see her go) and one of Margot's favourite things in Austria (Laugenecke from Billa)

Last week we went on a little lab retreat. We stayed at the beautiful Rudolfsvilla in Reichenau an der Rax. We had food prepared by our wonderful chefs Helmut, Jan, and Kirren. We discussed future career plans of our PhD students in the garden and around the fire. We all had a beautiful time โค
