From yesterday ALL vans trucks and trailers need to complete it to leave the U.K. . Without it you can’t leave .
Submitting it is one thing
Waiting for a barcode back from the French ?
Not only do you have to list the time of departure - which is no good if you can’t leave

Well apart from having to either establish your company in Europe or register with them for an EoRI - there’s also a much more complex paperwork issue to contend with

For 6 years I’ve transported goods from the Uk -EU for the same customer in both countries.they own the goods . They have no commercial resale value . From 01/09 they are going to have to “sell” the goods back to themselves every week for customs . And pay for it ..

The ICS is a ballache - currently by looks of it accessible by French agents .

Got back to Heathrow - turned on phone and someone was spending money on my cards in Malaysia while we were in the air knowing phones would be off ! Turns out cards taken from suitcase just before we got back as was leaving resort at 2am ..
