💬🏦Discussing the EU anti-fraud architecture during the annual Interinstitutional Exchange of Views on OLAF our acting DG @sallaloi.bsky.social said that working with partners gives fresh perspectives & enhances expertise to increase protection of the EU budget and maintain trust in the EU Project.
📢The new Director-General of OLAF will be Mr Petr Klement. A Czech national, Mr Klement will join us from the European Public Prosecutor's Office, where he serves as Deputy Chief European Prosecutor. A warm welcome to OLAF!

🌐 Working with 40 Customs partners as part of major Joint Operation 'Noxia II' 🤝 we helped seize 149.5 million of smuggled cigarettes, over 3, 000 tonnes of illicit waste & 66.5 Kilos of pseudoephedrine (a key component of methamphetamine).
