H2 4:07 | Evansville 28, Iowa 76

The Hawkeyes look like a juggernaut today. Five players in double figures already including Layla Hays (13) off the bench.

Here’s Iowa QB Mark Gronowski on the failed 2-pt try via Jim Nelson.

Says pass was initially intended for Kaden Wetjen.

Iowa's going to need some help now.

Oregon is in field goal range with two timeouts and plenty of time to get the game-winning kick.

Someone is going to need to step up for the Hawkeyes.

Gronowski with ice in his veins!!!

Botched play on third down and he gets in the end zone on fourth!

An absolute career-defining drive for Gronowski.

Has this been the best Iowa's passing attack has looked all year?

Yes.
November 8, 2025 at 11:33 PM
How big does that safety feel right now?
November 8, 2025 at 11:21 PM
Hate that play call on third-and-5.

Run the ball, get a fourth-and-short and then run again.

Drew Stevens nails a 58-yarder to cut the lead back to five.

Iowa's defense keeps doing enough to keep the Hawkeyes in the game.

The offense needs a clean drive like what it looked like it had going before the Wetjen fumble.
November 8, 2025 at 11:05 PM
Kaden Wetjen fumbles the ball. Oregon recovers.

Hawkeyes had the ball down to the Ducks' 16-yard line.

Seemed like Iowa had three points in its back pocket instead Oregon gets a huge momentum-turning play.

What a catch by Sam Phillips. Incredible!
November 8, 2025 at 10:45 PM
Six straight runs to start the second half for the Hawkeyes 🤌
November 8, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Iowa defense forces a punt and now the offense has a chance to get in front with a touchdown drive.

Tim Lester's playcalling was really strong late in the second quarter. We'll see if that keeps up.
