Trying out RDA for Genesys format. Looks pretty good so far, and you can calamity lock going first (yay?)
I'd tried to build Regenesis Dogmatika but I've got no experience with either decktype so I'll just wait for someone smarter than me to make a decklist.

Regionals was good! I went x-3 which is better than I expected. I don’t get to play in person much, so it was my first time facing yummy, and I took 2 of my losses to it. Other loss was to Odion, again, first time seeing it. Although in that match, g3 I got hit by macro cosmos & light imprisoning

i think the most interesting part of the rules change is the amount of people that are self-reporting that stalling for time and then burning after the timer hit 0:00 was their actual gameplan

This worlds stream is so scuffed. The casters are doing a great job but the people running the stream seem asleep at the wheel, just randomly cutting to whatever and then playing a shoe commercial 8 times in a row. Amazing

Got my OTS next weekend, but I’ve been very underpracticed. I’m a little loss averse at the moment due to IRL, and my confidence is a bit knocked due to not knowing the mitsurugi Ryzeal matchup particularly well. I don’t get to play much in person and my friends are tough to make plans with. Oh well

The way some people book meetings at work is crazy. “Everyone looked free 12-1” yeah I wonder why
I’ve played games that use similar time rules (double loss at end of time) competitively, and it was honestly good for the overall attitude of the game. People were incentivised to play to win, games were brought to unambiguous conclusions. It didn’t really speed up the wait between rounds, though!
