Yes, Hegseth threw Bradley under the bus. Awkward, since Bradley spent his entire career making sure buses and troops were safe.

Remind me again: Who do you think knows more about the Geneva Convention? Decorated, Naval Academy, SEAL, JSOC, Admiral, or "I-read-headlines-once-on television" guy?

Oof, reading that Chronicle article about the student who got a zero on a paper... the student should not have been marked a zero per the rubric, but the paper did not meet the assignment criteria completely.

The result? Clean fuels are taking flight in the Golden State:

⬆️ Sustainable aviation fuel use up 300%

As part of today's historic return of ancestral land in the Sierra Nevada foothills and Central Valley back to the Tule River Tribe, the Department of Fish and Wildlife is helping reintroduce tule elk to the area.

It's a critical step in restoring balance to the lands and waters of their ancestors.

Finally received my formal PSLF eligibility notification. I now have a 30-day wait, and I could not be more excited to have this take place. Wishing the same for all those in PSLF who have been in limbo waiting for their notices.

Folks, people are all up in arms about the $200M ballroom, and 1) it's funded privately, 2) no taxpayer expense.
More interested in who's funding it & what other deals are happening. And raising $200M for a ballroom at a time with sky high everything, where else could that money have been directed?

Any government that uses invasive spyware on its citizens, on visitors, on migrants throttles and disrupts freedom.
Summer Lee and other lawmakers have sent a letter to the DHS demanding information on any plans ICE has to use Graphite, a spyware program that can access — without the owner’s knowledge or consent — a phone’s location data, photos, and encrypted applications, including WhatsApp and Signal.
Lawmakers Demand Information About Potential Use of Paragon Spyware by ICE
The lawmakers warned that allowing ICE to use spyware “threatens Americans’ freedom of movement and freedom of speech.”…

If anything, the anti-vacc rhetoric reminded me to schedule annual vaccinations for me and my family. So, thanks?
Setting aside the bad science, these recommendations will amplify the personal and professional burden that women face as family health managers. Because kids will need more medical visits and be more likely to get sick and very sick, meaning more time that moms will have to take off from paid work.

What a waste of taxpayer money, operational readiness, and ongoing military planning.

As a citizen, I would feel much more safe and comfortable knowing that the top brass are in their command posts around the world than coming to DC for a "pep rally".

War correspondent Pete Hegseth, because nothing says “I understand the stakes” like treating top-secret ops like a forwarded chain email in 2003: “If you don’t send this to five friends, the Navy won’t strike Yemen.”
NEW: Pete Hegseth’s Signal chats about pending strikes in Yemen included information from a top general’s secure messages to him, three U.S. officials with direct knowledge tell NBC News.
Info Pete Hegseth shared with wife, brother came from top general’s secure messages
Hegseth has denied the information he shared was classified, but it was given to him on a system for sensitive and classified information, sources told NBC News.

And, I also support banning petroleum-based food dyes, but not under the rhetoric of this presser.
