🌳Crews will be at Saxe Point Park on Tues, Oct 21 for tree removals & modifications to manage dead or hazardous trees. This will be done with ecosystem health in mind to avoid negative impacts.

Please watch for temporary path closures throughout the day & remain off closed trails.

#Esquimalt Road from Dominion Rd to Lampson St will have single-lane alternating traffic due to paving (7am-3pm) until October 28.

Council has proclaimed October 9, 2025, to mark World PANS PANDAS Awareness Day at the request of Inflamed Brain Alliance (IBA). The Archie Browning Sports Centre and the Esquimalt Adventure Park will be lit in green to help raise visibility for these neuroinflammatory conditions.

EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE DELIVERY: The @esquimaltbc.bsky.social won for its Youth Aquatic Safety & Leadership Program that leveraged existing resources to fill a need for more lifeguards. An honourable mention went to the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako for its Cycle 16 Trail Project.
